Passion

What are these things that drive us? Is the sum of a man the collections of his passions, or is it the way he handles them? Is a life without them really a life, or just a collections of moments spent trying to fend off boredom? I have seen people waste their lives in pursuit of them, and others waste away with out them.

Finding the balance is the key, but I know that to be with a man without passions is to be with someone who can't be free.

True, all things in moderation, least they destroy you. Freedom, is there such a beast? To those enslaved by their passions, it is an illusion. To those without passion it is a myth. Others still are bound by duty to God, family, and/or country.
Sorry if this comes off a little too emo, slow day at work spent reading the Tao Te Ching, The Art of War, and listening to Pink Floyd
