Found this picture of Sir Winston Churchill, from 1940 and he is holding a 1928 Thomson fitted with a drum magazine. The British were the first in WW2 to use the "Tommy Gun". I found this in a gun magazine if you could not guess. I'm not British, but this is one of the best pictures of a world leader I have ever seen.
