French riots

If you have been watching the news the last couple days, you have probably seen the riots in France. The reason for these riots, the French government passed a law that allowed employers to fire employees under 26 that had less then 2 years at their job. Up until now it was illegal for an employer to fire an employee. Illegal to fire an employee, man how bad of an idea is that? All that led to is people doing their jobs half-ass, when the did them at all. "I can't be fired so why work hard?" Now I don't believe that an employer should be able to fire someone for no reason, but if you don't do you job you should get the axe.
