Tempus fugit
Another weekend down, August looms before me. Seems that the last few months have flown by. Coming up on a point where many of my friends will be leaving and returning to their home countries. I am also waiting to see if I will be staying here (stupid contract negotiations), if I don't hear something soon back to the US for me. How can a day pass so slow, and a month go by in the blink of an eye?

Days pass slow when there aren't enough things in the day to excite and look forward to ...
Months go by quickly because they are made up of blocks of days, punctuated by weekends.
Find things to look forward to in your day and you'll find them going faster...
I have days like that... then years creep up suddenly. Best to try and make the best of every moment.
I'm always amazed by the passage of time. How an alloted amount of time can either be fast or slow dependent upon how you're spending it. It's the same amount, yet it has different effects. Funny.
